Waterco team, friends and family attended family BBQ
6th Jun 2019
Members of the Waterco team, friends and family attended our first ever family BBQ last Friday evening.
The rain held out for the evening, which made for a great opportunity to unwind and meet with family and friends of Waterco. The event was held at the ‘Three Pigeons’ pub in Graigfechan, Nr. Ruthin, just a few miles away from the Waterco offices.
The BBQ also provided an opportunity to reflect on the last 12 months (financial year 18/19), where Waterco have worked hard to deliver their water consultancy services throughout the UK. It’s clear that recent work has made a positive impact on clients and their customers, with one particular project nominated for Best Customer Outcome at the Dwr Cymru Welsh Water awards.
Much of the talk at the BBQ was geared towards looking forward to the year ahead at Waterco. With big projects in the pipeline and new staff to add extra specialisms to the water, drainage and flood risk Teams. Waterco are proud to welcome the following members to the team:
- Alun Roberts
- Emma Passe
- Ross Tate
- Gruffudd ap Gwyndaf
- Louise Wilcock
- Gareth Price
- Jennifer Gibson
These new members of staff will ensure that Waterco remain technically competitive in these fields.
To drive greater business efficiency we have introduced the Moneypenny service, launched Waterworks (Joe Glover) and Kraig Davies has joined the team to support Ops and Business Development.
Waterco is well placed to deliver bigger and better projects in 2019/20 and help us strive towards our goals.
- Continue to deliver Dwr Cymru Welsh Water projects in both the North and South
- Expand our design service offering into United Utilities and Severn Trent Water areas
- Grow the Developer Services market by delivering more multi discipline ‘schemes’ (flood risk assessment, hydraulic modelling and detailed surface water and foul water design)
